Read My Pins

I am looking forward to seeing this book about Madeleine Albright’s pins, subtitled Stories from a Diplomat’s Jewel Box.

Even better than that would be to visit the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City to see more than 200 pins, “many of which Secretary Albright wore to communicate a message or a mood during her diplomatic tenure. The exhibition examines the collection for its historic significance as well as the expressive power of jewelry and its ability to communicate through a style and language of its own.”

It’s on display until January 31st, so go if you can.  Venues after that are the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Washington D.C., and Indianapolis.
