This blog is now one year old! It was an offshoot of redesigning my website, and I’ve been fairly regularly adding posts since inception. I’ve enjoyed it more than I suspected I would — I have never kept any sort of written journal before, but this seems to work for me.
Blogging has kept me more accountable; I’m beading more regularly so I have something on which to report. I also have gotten some positive response on my “reporting” of shows and talks I’ve attended. I do try to intersperse those with actual beadwork, so there is actual beadwork happening. Adding to my blogroll? That’s gotten a bit out of hand, but I don’t intend to stop because I enjoy it.
So, as of this entry, with one year of blogging, I’ve written 171 posts, with my most popular entry about the Beads of Whimsy show. I’ve also received comments from beaders all over the world. Thank you!
