Denim right angle weave bracelet, step 1

I purchased some of these vintage lucite beads (20x15mm) in this denim, and a lovely rich deep red. Because they’re plastic, they’re very light, so I can make a rather large bracelet without weighing down my wrist.

There’s s single hole in the beads, and I have yet to figure out both the clasp (maybe a rectangular right angle weave toggle, a la David Chatt), or how to link my right angle weave components and the lucite. I tried bringing in a different light blue bead, but I don’t like how it looks. I may do a flattened, truncated pyramid in this same matte Montana blue on the outer edges. Or something else, I have yet to try…
