Smithsonian Museum of American History

Just a couple pictures from this, my last post about my trip to Washington, D.C. The Smithsonian Museum of American History has everything from the history of light bulbs to the First Ladies’ gowns to the Manhattan Project.

The beautiful copper pots and pans from one wall of Julia Child’s kitchen:

Washington, D.C. is a destination worthy of repeat visits to see the history, art, and government. Be prepared to walk lots, eat well, and bring a camera!
