Quilt project – part 3

I’ve done a little more, and I’m not entirely satisfied, but don’t have time or beads to make it better.  This is what happens when you don’t do samples:  you don’t realize that the oranges that looked enough different in the tube are almost exactly alike on the fabric.  Also, there’s a couple of lines where the beads should be looking more random.

  1. Mmm been there & done that with thinking the colours of the beads would shade how I saw it in my mind’s eye (or the fabric I was beading on) Still looking good tho Ducley

  2. It’s already looking great. I guess you will be adding some more of the lighter orange, so when it’s finished, the different will show better. It’s beautiful!

    • Right, the lighter oranges are more towards the front of the fish, but I think it’s too subtle. I’m working with beads on hand, and I have a lot — but THIS would be the time when it would be nice to own a store (and live above it), so you could walk downstairs and browse. I take that back, you wouldn’t need to own it, just live above it. Wouldn’t THAT be fun/dangerous? 🙂 Thank you!
