New clasp – attached to bracelet…


It works! It’s difficult to attach one-handed, but it’s secure and looks good. From the other side:

I was inspired by a design by Beth Kraft of Nordic Gypsy, a bead store in Rochester Minnesota. Her design is called Zephyr, a 4-sided tube of St. Petersburg. I made mine 3-sided, and the third side is square stitch instead of St. Petersburg. And then I doubled it up and had two tubes share a common corner. I followed her lead on the random striping as well.

It’s a cool idea, and I like how it came together. Neat cross-section to it, too.
