Hand Jewelry: a class with Diane Fitzgerald

I am fortunate that Diane Fitzgerald had openings in a local workshop, and sent invitations to local beaders to join her — and it worked with my schedule! This is a series of six sessions, with the ultimate goal of creating a piece of jewelry for the back of the hand. This first session, we discussed inspiration, ideas, and problems we will have to solve to make a piece of jewelry for the back of the hand. We ended the session making a piece of triangle netting, which could be used for hand jewelry. I finished the triangle yesterday, adding the loop for my middle finger. I think I’m going to use a daisy chain for anchoring at the wrist. If you would like to make this triangle netting, the instructions are in Diane’s Netted Beadwork book.
