The Journey Museum in Rapid City, South Dakota is about the Lakota and the settlers, and the paleontology and the cosmos. I recently visited the area, and this is my first of four posts on beadwork and beads in Rapid City.

The museum is a nice size, with a wide range of exhibits. The first picture is of the case where I took most of my pictures. Click on any image to see it larger — there is excellent beadwork and quillwork in the pictures. I’m always inspired by design and the color combinations.
