I took a quick look through the artwork that has been accepted into the 2012 JMM Exhibition. There are beads! This exhibition will be held in the exhibit hall in the Hynes Convention Center in Boston during the January 4-7, 2012. The Mathematical Association of America (MAA) and the American Mathematical Society (AMS) are the hosting organizations for this largest annual mathematics meeting in the world.

There are about 80 artists juried into the Bridges Math Art Galleries show. I see The Beaded Molecules scientists from Taiwan, bead artist Gwen Fisher, and bead crochet by Susan Goldstine and Ellie Baker. It looks like a fun exhibit.
