I did end up using the components I had tested back in May, and made some more:

I have three more of the embroidered pieces to make, the centerpiece to finish (it’s only slightly larger), and a couple more of the bowtie/fans. I’ll be connecting them with the small sapphire Swarovski bicones. Three more of the kit’s beads make their appearance in the modest fringe in the centerpiece; that leaves three more beads yet unused. They will be part of the connection of this front part of the necklace (maybe 14″?) to the clasp.
