Bead Dreams 2008
Eighty works are available for viewing online, if you haven’t seen this yet. In a quick peek, I see slews of large necklaces, as in previous years, and a few sculptures. I don’t think I saw a single vessel. Off to do more looking!

I didn’t see any vessels either. I’m impressed by the Serafini/Kummli style necklaces…the originals blow me away, but we don’t need to see any more copies! I didn’t look closely at the poly clay or the lampwork…it’s getting dark and I should be off to bed.
I wonder what *wasn’t* juried in. I got the newest B&B yesterday with this section in it, and confirmed no vessels (says she with a vessel in her header and on the front page of her website).
I think you need to change the status of vessels in bead dreams! Although…they seem to go for complex stuff so you might have to include a cab or something in your vessel.
Rivolis! Make a vessel with rivolis! THAT would get attention. 🙂
