Artist Statement

Designing artwork with tiny beads and thread is a contemplative process, where I can get lost in crafting the piece I've envisioned. I am inspired by nature, other forms of art, and by the beads themselves -- sometimes a single bead can spark an entire piece.  Translating these inspirations into realities is an artistic challenge, a designing puzzle, and sometimes a mathematical test.
